Orange cylinder gelatin

A delicious orange cylinder gelatin to finish a great meal couldn’t be better. Prepare it and enjoy with sweet D’Gari-style.

Ingredients
  • 1 bag of D’Gari® Orange Flavored Gelatin
  • 1 bag of D’Gari® Condensed Milk Flavored Gelatin
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 8 cups of water

For the syrup:

  • 350 grams of sliced oranges
  • 1 1/2 cups of refined sugar
  • 3/4 cup of water

Use a circular mold with a 16cm diameter and another circular mold with a 20cm diameter. Grease and set aside.

Mix the water and sugar and place over medium-low heat for 5 minutes or until it comes to a gentle boil. Let it cool.

Place the orange slices in the syrup for 10 minutes. Strain and reserve the slices.

Boil the milk and add the D’Gari Condensed Milk Flavored Gelatin, dissolve completely. Let it cool and pour into the 16cm mold. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until it is firm. Unmold and set aside.

Boil the water and add the D’Gari Orange Flavored Gelatin, dissolve completely. Let it cool.

Pour a small amount of D’Gari Orange Flavored Gelatin into the 20cm mold to form a thin layer and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Place the D’Gari Condensed Milk Flavored Gelatin in the center of the D’Gari Orange Flavored Gelatin.

Dip the orange slices in the D’Gari Orange Flavored Gelatin and place them around the D’Gari Condensed Milk Flavored Gelatin. Refrigerate for another 10 minutes.

Pour the remaining D’Gari Orange Flavored Gelatin to cover the mold. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Unmold.

Tips from D’Gari

To easily unmold gelatin, dip the mold briefly in warm water, ensuring not to let the water come into contact with the gelatin. Gently slide a knife around the edges to loosen it before inverting onto a plate.
